If you’ve heard that a house can have ‘character’ but never quite understood how, this is it. Blending traditional Cotswold charm with understated, French-cottage-inspired design, it’s a wonderful home to while away the hours.
Inside, soft neutral tones and warm textures create a space that immediately feels like home. The log burner is the heart of the living area, but it’s the ridiculously comfortable sofa that’s worth mentioning – made for those “no I promise I’m awake” early evenings. Upstairs, two peaceful bedrooms sleep four, both dressed in simple, layered comfort. The principal has a super-king bed and Smart TV, while the second offers a double bed. Cosy.
There’s a full bathroom upstairs with bath and shower, and downstairs you’ll find an additional toilet and sink. The kitchen is fully equipped for easy meals, but with so many incredible restaurants on your doorstep we’d be surprised if you use it.
Step outside into your private enclosed garden, where outdoor seating and a cantilever parasol make those slow morning breakfasts and evening nightcaps a real pleasure. Whether it’s winter nights by the fire or summer mornings in the garden, Horseshoe Cottage is just the spot for you to take some much needed “me” time.
